Postcodes you enter into our quotation calculator; your name, telephone number, email address, goods description, preferred date, instructions and any photograph you upload with a booking enquiry; and messages you send through our contact forms.

To protect the website from misuse, we also keep a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your internet connection address, which does not directly identify you.

To calculate quotations, respond to your enquiries, arrange and provide bookings, keep records of what was agreed, and prevent spam and misuse. Our lawful bases are taking steps at your request before entering a contract, performing a contract, and our legitimate interests in running and protecting our business.

Photographs are stored privately. They are only viewable by the business owner after signing in, and are never published or shared publicly.

We do not sell your information. We use trusted service providers to host our website and database, send email notifications, and calculate road mileage (postcodes only are sent to Google Maps for this).

We keep your information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, including any legal, accounting or record-keeping requirements, and then delete it securely.

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or object to how we use it, by contacting info@abtransport.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

We only use essential storage needed for the website to work, such as keeping the owner signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
